📃 Terms of Service – SelfSerum™

1. OVERVIEW

Welcome to SelfSerum™ The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SelfSerum an online retail business operating through Shopify and teemDrop-integrated services. By visiting and purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

These Terms are designed to protect both you as the customer and us as the retailer, while ensuring compliance with TeemDrop policies and South African consumer law.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have consent from a legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete account and order information.

3. PRODUCTS & PRICING

  • All product descriptions, images, and pricing are subject to change without notice.

  • SelfSerum™ makes every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that product representations perfectly reflect the delivered item.

  • Prices are displayed in ZAR (South African Rand) and may exclude shipping, duties, or taxes.

4. ORDERS & PAYMENT

  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

  • SelfSerum™ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order suspected of fraud or misuse.

  • Payment information is securely processed through Shopify’s payment partners.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • We use trusted suppliers and TeemDrop-backed logistics.

  • Delivery times vary depending on location and supplier availability. Estimated shipping times are shown at checkout but are not guaranteed.

  • Risk of loss passes to the customer once the product is handed over to the courier.

  • Delays caused by customs, courier services, or supplier backlogs are beyond our control.

6. RETURNS & REFUNDS (Aligned with TeemDrop)

  • Returns are only accepted if the product is:

    • Defective or damaged upon arrival,

    • Incorrect item delivered,

    • Covered under specific TeemDrop return policies.

  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted, in line with TeemDrop's fulfillment policies.

  • To initiate a return, you must contact us at support@selfserum.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order, with clear proof (photos/videos).

  • Approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method, minus applicable shipping and handling fees.

7. WARRANTIES & LIMITATIONS

  • SelfSerum™ does not manufacture the products; warranties are limited to those provided by the supplier and TeemDrop coverage.

  • We do not guarantee performance, results, or suitability beyond the product description.

8. LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SelfSerum shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of profits, loss of use, or loss of data).

  • Delays or delivery failures caused by third-party couriers, customs, or suppliers.

  • Any use of products outside their intended purpose.

9. DATA PRIVACY

We respect your privacy and comply with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). Customer data will only be used for order fulfillment, TeemDrop insurance processing, and lawful business operations. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in South African courts.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

SelfSerum™ may update these Terms periodically. Updates will take effect once posted on our website.
